Dano Festival

The Dano Festival is a two-day festival held every spring, organized by the Korea Town BIA.  This year, thanks to the organizers and Ms. Cecilia Choi, The Korea Club has been given the opportunity to host our own booth at the festival, showcasing Korean traditional culture through clothing and games.

Our booth will be open Saturday from 12:00pm – 5:00pm.  Check out our photozone where all ages can try on traditional Korean clothing known as hanbok.  We’ll have different styles of hanbok ranging from the robes of kings and queens, to modern fusion dresses, and everything in between.  The photos will be uploaded to our facebook page after the event, or you can even get a special polaroid on site to commemorate the day!

We’ll also have a game zone where you can try your hand at tuho, an arrow tossing game, and children can even decorate their own arrows to take home.

Stick around after to see the Beauties of Dano Contest, as each contestant will be sporting a hanbok from Ms. Choi’s shop!
